Mommy Gs Gourmet Grilled Cheese
About three weeks ago, the non-profit I am interning with this summer decided that we needed to treat ourselves to a more interesting lunch after bonding over some bowling. We had all heard some buzz about Mommy G’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese on the corner of Sprague and Washington. Much to our dismay, there was a 45-minute wait, but it was definitely worth having our stomachs grumble for a little longer. It is a gilled cheese stand offering everything from a classic grilled cheese to something more interesting like The Christy’s creation: Spicy Habanero Jack cheese, roasted red pepper aioli and baby greens on honey wheat bread or The Sweeters: chocolate and sweetened Mascarpone cheese grilled on delicious Cinnamon Chip Bread. I went with Conrad’s Favorite, Turkey breast, cream Havarti cheese, roasted red pepper aioli and baby greens on honey wheat bread and it did not disappoint! I also got the tomato soup for an extra 75 cents- wasn’t the best soup in the world and you can definitely enjoy your sandwich without it.
Take a look at what Jackson and I got to enjoy for lunch:

Until next time,
